Hi team

After a month of trying to get players registered for Outdoor Soccer Season 2024

Sadly we only had 10 players registered

To run a team for outdoor a squad of 18 or close to it is required plus a level of commitment to get through all weeks allowing for sickness injuries & vacations

Firebirds has ran since 2016 and we have always managed to run two teams

Players interests change over the years and we now contend with other sports, part time jobs, education, relationships etc… etc…

It is with some sadness that we cannot forge a squad this season but the numbers do not support a team this year

What happens now ?…………………………..

We cannot declare a team so everyone will be refunded their registration fee & for those who want to continue playing all we can do is direct you towards SWOAK which is SouthWest Oakridge Optimist Soccer

Try another local club that may have Teams competing in the EMDSL in the girls U16 2008 Division

I would also like to take the opportunity to all the volunteers we have had over the seasons to help run the programs
